BAKED STEAK 
1 round steak
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
1 c. mushroom soup

Butter baking dish. Place steak in dish. Cut the fat on edge of steak at intervals so the steak will lie flat during the baking process. Add salt and water. Cover and bake in 400 degree oven until tender (usually about an hour).

When steak is tender, remove meat and add mushroom soup to the drippings for gravy. Very good served with mashed potatoes.
