1 - 2 - 1 FLUFF METHOD OF
COOKING RICE
 
1 c. rice
2 c. water
1 tsp. salt

For extra flavor, add 1 tablespoon butter.

For extra whiteness, add 1 tablespoon vinegar.

Combine rice, water, and salt in a 3 quart saucepan that has a tight fitting lid. Bring to a boil, stirring once or twice as water comes to a boil. Lower heat to simmer. Cover pan and cook 18 minutes without removing lid or stirring.
