1 1/2 c. oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts
3 c. apples, sliced

Mix together oil and sugar. Add eggs, beating in one at a time. Mix together flour, salt, cinnamon and bake soda. Add to egg mixture, mixing well. Add vanilla, nuts and sliced apples. Bake at 350 degrees in greased and floured pan. Bake tube pan for 1 1/2 hours; sheet pan for 50 minutes.
