RAW APPLE CAKE 
4 c. sliced apples
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. salad oil
2 tsp. vanilla
2 beaten eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts

Blend together in order listed. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 250 degrees for 50 minutes. Serve topped with hot rum sauce (see below).

HOT RUM SAUCE:

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. cream
1 c. sugar

Boil for 5 minutes. Then add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 teaspoon rum flavoring.
