RAW APPLE CAKE 
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. salad oil
3 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
4 apples, sliced (Granny Smith)
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. walnuts, chopped

Place all ingredients, except apples and nuts, in bowl. Beat with wooden spoon until well blended. Add apples and half of nuts. Pour batter into greased 9" x 13" pan and sprinkle with the remaining nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when done (optional).
