BUCK WHEAT PANCAKES | |
1 c. buckwheat flour 1 c. whole wheat flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. oil 2 eggs, beaten 2 c. milk Sift the buckwheat flour and stir the other dry ingredients in lightly with a fork. Add beaten egg, milk and oil; mix. Cook pancakes on a hot, lightly oiled griddle. They seem to take longer to cook so wait until bubbles appear all over surface before turning. Makes about 18 4-inch pancakes. |
