JELLY BOWLS 
3 c. flour
2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. milk
1 c. butter flavor Crisco
2 eggs
Grape jam
4 c. dry oatmeal
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream Crisco and sugar; add eggs and beat well. Combine flour, soda and baking powder; add to Crisco mixture. Mix well, add the oatmeal alternately with the milk. Add the vanilla. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Make a small well in the center of each cookie (helps to wet finger in water first). Fill well with a 1/4 teaspoon of jam. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 375 degrees. These store well in a tightly covered container.
