APPLE DOUGHNUTS 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
Enough milk for a fairly thick batter
2-4 apples, peeled, cored and sliced 1/4 inch thick

Drop and fry until golden brown in deep fat, 350 degrees. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
