APPLE CAKE PIE 
1/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3 tbsp. orange juice
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. peeled, finely chopped apples
1/2 c. raisins

Cream butter, gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs; mix well.

Combine next 5 ingredients. Add to creamed mixture alternately with orange juice, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Stir in vanilla. Fold in apples and raisins.

Pour batter into greased and floured 9" pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted comes out clean.
