APPLE STRUDEL 
7-8 sm. apples
Cinnamon and sugar
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg

Into the bottom of a buttered baking dish, put thick layers of apples (7-8 small, 5-6 large). Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture. Dot with lumps of butter.

Sift together 1 cup sugar, 1 cup flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt. Into this, break 1 egg. Mix until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
