APPLE STRUDEL 
2 1/3 c. flour
1 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 1/3 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. butter, melted

Combine and press mixture into 9x13 pan. Bring the crust up about 1 1/2 inches on sides. Reserve 1 cup for topping. 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/4 c. water 1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch

Cook until thickened. Add vanilla and cool slightly. Pour into pan, sprinkle cinnamon and reserved topping on top of apple mixture. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream. (Good cold, too.)
