LEMON SQUARES 
2 c. flour
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter

Mix this part and pat ingredients into greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake approximately 20 minutes in 325 to 350 degree oven. 2 c. sugar 6 tbsp. fresh squeezed lemon juice 4 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder

Beat eggs. Add sugar gradually. Add lemon juice, flour, and baking powder. Spread over top of the above baked crust mixture. Bake 20 to 30 minutes longer. When cool cut into squares and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

NOTE: I decrease the amount of butter by 1/8 with approximately, 1/4 cup of the sugar in the egg mixture. When baking bake the alotted time and there will be a browned top.
