1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Mix all together. Cover; put in refrigerator overnight or for 2 hours (if needed sooner). Roll out onto floured pastry sheet. Cut into shapes. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400 degrees for 7 minutes or until bottom of cookie is a light brown. Do not bake too long. Makes 4 dozen.
