1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking sugar
5 c. flour

Mix ingredients in order listed. Refrigerate for several hours. Roll, cut out cookie shapes and bake in a 350 degree oven for 8 minutes. Cool completely before frosting.
