BLUEBERRY CAKE 
3 1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. blueberries

Cream Crisco; add sugar and beat well; add eggs and beat well. Sift flour, salt and baking powder. Add flour alternately with milk and vanilla. Beat well after each addition. Coat berries with 4 teaspoons flour and fold into mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.

ICING:

5 tbsp. flour
1 c. butter or Crisco
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar

Cook milk and flour together until thick; cool it. Beat butter, sugar and vanilla together, add to flour and milk mixture. Beat until fluffy, it takes a while. When thick and fluffy enough, put on cake.
