BANANA TORTE 
CRUST:

2 c. flour
2 sticks butter
2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Mix crust ingredients well and pat into an ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes or lightly browned. Cool.

FIRST LAYER:

8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1/2 of 8 ounce carton Cool Whip

Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar. Add 1/2 of 8 ounce carton of Cool Whip. Spread over crust.

SECOND LAYER:

3 or more bananas

Slice 3 or more bananas over top.

THIRD LAYER:

1 lg. size instant vanilla pudding
2 1/2 c. milk

Mix instant vanilla pudding with 2 1/2 cups milk. Pour over bananas.

FOURTH LAYER:

1/2 of 8 oz. carton Cool Whip

Top with remaining Cool Whip. Refrigerate.
