APPLE DUMPLINGS 
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 pt. sour cream
Apples, chopped

Put flour, baking powder and baking soda in pan. Then mix egg and sour cream together. Mix like a pie crust. Roll out 1/4-inch thick; cover with chopped apples, sugar, cinnamon and a little nutmeg. Roll and slice.

TOPPING:

3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. boiling water

Bring to a boil: sugar, brown sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, 2 tablespoons butter and water. Pour over dumplings and bake at 375 degrees for 1/2 hour.
