BROWNIES 
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. water
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour and sugar in bowl and set aside. Combine in pan butter, cocoa, Crisco and water; boil and pour over dry ingredients. Add remaining ingredients and pour in greased sheet pan. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 400 degrees.

While brownies bake, prepare the frosting.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
1/4 c. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 box XXX sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Nuts

Combine in pan butter, cocoa and milk and boil 5 minutes. Beat in remaining ingredients and spread immediately over hot brownies.
