PEANUT JELLY BARS 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 sticks marg.
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. oatmeal, uncooked
1/2 c. chopped peanuts
10 oz. jam or jelly

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly grease 9 x 13 pan. Combine flour, salt, and baking soda in large bowl. Mix. Cream, butter and sugar add flour mixture mix well. Stir in oats and peanuts.

Sprinkle 1/2 crumb mixture on bottom of pan. Press firmly to cover bottom of pan spread jam evenly over crumb mixture. Sprinkle remaining crumb mixture over jam. Bake 25 minutes. Cool, cut, serve.
