BACON, OLIVE AND MUSHROOM QUICHE 
1 1/2 c. whipping cream
1/2 c. buttermilk
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1/4 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/4 lb. Swiss cheese, shredded (about 2 c.)
2 tbsp. sliced green onions
1 (3 oz.) can olives, pitted
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, sliced
1 pastry lined 9 inch pie, UNBAKED

Heat cream and buttermilk; whisk in eggs and seasonings. Stir in cheese, bacon, onion, olives, and mushrooms. Pour into pastry shell. Bake in 375 degree oven 30-35 minutes, until custard is set and golden. Serves 6.
