PASTA SALAD 
1 lb. pasta (rotini style)
1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces
1 can olives (black)
1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes

DRESSING:

1/3 c. olive oil
1/4 c. vinegar
2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. sweet basil
1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Cook and drain pasta (to desired tenderness). Pour into bowl, drain mushrooms, olives and tomatoes, and chop into very small pieces. Pour over pasta and mix. Then stir together dressing ingredients and pour over pasta, mix well. Chill overnight, or a couple of hours before serving. (Optional - 1/2 cup more of dressing ingredients to pour over - pasta tends to soak up dressing.)
