1 pkg. yellow cake mix Juice and rind of 2 lemons and 2 oranges 1 1/3 to 1 1/2 boxes powdered sugar Mix cake according to package directions. Bake in miniature muffin tins, filling tins 1/2 full. GLAZE: Mix rind and juice of both lemon and oranges with powdered sugar, dip tops of small cakes into the glaze while they are still hot and remove quickly. Drain on wax paper. (These freeze well). This recipe makes small cakes, not pastries, and should not be confused with any commercially available product. |
