LASAGNA 
PART I:

8-10 wide lasagna noodles
1 lb. cottage cheese
1/2 c. Romano cheese
1 tbsp. parsley
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Mozzarella slices

Combine all ingredients (except noodles and Mozzarella slices). Place half of the noodles in pan 9x13. Divide Part I and put half on the noodles, then a layer of Mozzarella and a layer of half of Part II. Now repeat with layer of noodles, Part I, Mozzarella slices and Part II.

PART II:

1 lb. Italian sausage (sweet or mild -- could use turkey Italian too)
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp. basil
1 lb. can tomatoes
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
1 1/2 tsp. salt

Brown meat, pour off fat. Add the remaining ingredients. Simmer uncovered 30 minutes.

Take your layered lasagna (layered with Part I and Part II) and cook in oven at 375 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
