QUICHE LORRAINE 
1 (9 inch) crust pie
12 slices bacon
1 c. shredded cheese
1/3 c. finely chopped onion
4 eggs
2 c. half & half
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. red pepper

Crisply fry bacon and the crumble in pie shell along with cheese and onion. Beat eggs slightly; beat in remaining ingredients. Pour egg mixture into pie plate. Bake, uncovered, in 425 degree oven 15 minutes. Reduce oven to 300 degrees. Bake another 30 minutes or until knife inserted between center and edge comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. 6 servings. 660 calories per serving.
