1 c. sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
2 tbsp. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. lemon
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar, butter, eggs, lemon and vanilla. Add salt, baking powder, baking soda and milk. Add flour (small amounts at a time). Chill 4 hours or overnight.

Roll out, cut with favorite cookie cutters and bake at 350 degrees until light tan on edge of cookie.
