QUICK AND EASY ROLLS | |
1 1/2 c warm water 2 pkg yeast 4 c plain flour 1/4 c sugar 1 1/2 tsp salt 1/3 c soft shortening 1 egg Pour water into a large mixing bowl. Add yeast. Let stand a minute. Stir to dissolved. Add half the flour, salt, shortening, and egg. Beat with mixer until smooth. Add rest of flour. Stir in by hand until smooth. Cover, let rise about 30 minutes. Roll out, cut and put into pans. Let rise again for 30 minutes. Bake in 425°F oven about 10 to 15 minutes. |
