BROWN SUGAR BREAD 
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3 tbsp. butter, softened
1 egg
3/4 c. milk
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. butter
Cinnamon
Brown sugar

In medium bowl, stir together the sugars, then beat in the softened butter. Add egg and beat. Mix in the milk.

In a separate bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder and salt. Combine the 2 mixtures, stirring to form a stiff batter. Spoon into greased 5 x 9 inch loaf pan. Dot on butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick in the center comes out clean. Remove from pan; cool on a rack.
