QUICK LEMON CREAM CHEESE BARS 
1 lemon cake mix
1/2 c. melted butter
1 egg
1 can lemon frosting
1 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
2 eggs

Mix and pat together in 9x13 inch cake pan the cake mix, melted butter and 1 egg.

Mix together and pour over the above crust, 1/2 can of the lemon frosting, the cream cheese and the 2 eggs. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

After cools, frost with the remaining 1/2 can of lemon frosting. Store in refrigerator. Very good to make 1 or 2 days in advance.

I've made this twice, and it really is delicious. the kids enjoying helping because there's three steps (like all their tv shows, there are three steps to achieving a goal). If you wanted to up the flavor you could probably grind up almonds and add to the cake mix layer. This is easy to keep in pantry and make fast, though it is better tasting a day later after sitting in fridge. BC website has a variation using powdered sugar, lemon peel and lemon juice with the cream cheese but I find this one faster and packed with more lemon flavor.
