RAISIN AND OATIES COOKIES 
1 c. butter
3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. oats
1 c. raisins

Cream together butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in flour, salt, baking soda, and oats. Mix well. Stir in raisins. Drop by tablespoons onto lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove and place on wire rack to cool. This recipe makes about 36 cookies.
