RAISIN OATIES 
1 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. old fashioned oats
1 c. raisins

Cream together butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in flour, salt, baking soda, and oats. Mix well, stir in raisins. Drop by tablespoons onto lightly greased baking sheet. Bake above oven center at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire rack to cool. Makes about 36 cookies.
