NUTMEG LOGS 
1 c. butter
2 tsp. rum flavoring
1 egg
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt

FOR FROSTING:

1/3 c. butter
2 tsp. rum flavoring
2 tbsp. light cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. powdered sugar, sifted

Cream butter and flavorings. Beat in sugar and egg. Add flour, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well. Shape pieces of dough on powdered sugared dish towel or board into long rolls 1/2 inch in diameter. Cut into 3 inch lengths and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Beat together frosting. Frost cooled cookies and sprinkle with nutmeg.
