HOT FUDGE PIE 
1 1/2 stick butter
2 1/3 c. sugar
3 squares baker's chocolate
1/2 tsp. salt
5 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eight inch pie crusts

Melt butter and chocolate in heavy bottom pot. Cool slightly and add sugar. Stir to mix and cool more. Beat eggs with a fork until well blended. Add eggs, salt and vanilla to chocolate mixture. Pour into crust and bake at 350 degrees about 25 minutes or until a knife in center comes out clean. Center will fold in somewhat. Fill with ice cream, whipped cream or Cool Whip. Best when served warm.
