CHICKEN DIVAN 
3 to 4 chicken breasts
2 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, cooked
Garlic salt
Grated cheese
Slivered almonds
1 can chicken soup
1 c. sour cream
2 to 3 tbsp. cooking sherry
butter

Boil chicken breasts in salt water until tender, then remove from bones. In a casserole dish, place a layer of broccoli, then a layer of chicken. Season with chunks of butter and garlic salt.

Next, layer lots of grated cheese and slivered almonds. Mix chicken soup, sour cream, cooking sherry and more grated cheese and pour over chicken and broccoli. Sprinkle with paprika and slivered almonds.

Bake in moderate 350 to 375 degree oven for 30 to 40 minutes. Recipe can be halved or doubled (4 layers).
