HAYSTACKS CANDY 
1 pkg. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate or butterscotch

1 c. Spanish nuts

1 (3 oz.) can chow mein noodles

Melt chocolate bits in top of double boiler, stirring occasionally to blend. Meanwhile, combine nuts and chow mein noodles. Place in preheated low oven of 200 degrees to keep warm. Add nuts and noodles to melt chocolate. Mix until all are coated.

Drop with a teaspoon onto waxed paper or baking sheet to form a little haystack. Makes about 48 haystacks.
