HAM-CHICKEN BAKE 
2 c. diced cooked or canned ham
2 c. diced cooked or canned chicken
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
1 c. chicken broth
1 c. light cream
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
3 oz. can mushrooms

Place in bottom of casserole the ham and chicken. Melt butter. Add flour. Blend in chicken broth, cream, salt and pepper. Cook and stir until thick. Add onion and mushrooms. Pour over ham and chicken in casserole. Top with yam biscuits.

YAM BISCUITS:

1 c. mashed cooked yams
1/4 c. melted butter
1 beaten egg
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Combine yams, butter, and eggs. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to yams mixture. Drop by tablespoons around edge of casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
