VEGETABLE PULAR 
1 c. rice
1 sm. potato
1/4 lb. cauliflower and eggplant (mix 1/4, both together)
1/4 lb. mixed vegetables
3 cloves of garlic
1 med. onion
1/2 tsp. cumin seeds
1/2 tsp. mustard seeds
3 to 5 tsp. butter
2 sm. cinnamon sticks
3 cloves
Salt to taste
1 tsp. turmeric powder
3 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. shredded fresh ginger
1 med. potato
1 sm. bell pepper
Coriander leaves

Put butter into saucepan and add cumin, mustard seeds, cloves, cinnamon sticks. Wash rice in separate bowl. Once seeds splatter add chopped onions and garlic. Saute in pan until brown. Add rice and vegetables. Now add the rest of the spices and cook on medium heat until vegetables are tender. Garnish with sliced tomato and bell pepper.
