HUMDINGER STEW 
1 lb. ground beef
2 c. chopped celery
2 c. sliced raw carrots
1 onion, sliced
3 c. sliced raw potatoes
1 (16 oz.) can peas
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can mushroom soup
Salt and pepper to taste

Brown meat. Cook celery and carrots in 1 1/2 cups water 10 minutes. Mix all ingredients together, including water from cooked vegetables. Bake in covered dish at 250 degrees for 3 hours. Serves 10.
