BANANA SPLIT CAKE 
2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1 stick butter (for filling)
2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lg. container Cool Whip
1/2 stick melted butter
3 eggs
1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple
2/3 c. pecan pieces
3 bananas

Place graham crackers and melted butter in a 9 x 13 inch (oblong) baking dish. Beat 1 stick butter, sugar and vanilla for 10 minutes (very important). Add eggs and beat very well! Spread over crumb crust. Slice 3 bananas, place on filling.

Drain pineapple and spread over bananas. Top with Cool Whip. Sprinkle nuts over Cool Whip. Place in refrigerator for 4 hours. Cherries may be added for color.
