KENTUCKY HOT BROWNS 
1/2 lb. bacon
6 slices tomatoes
1/2 stick butter
1 (5 1/2 oz.) can evaporated milk
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can mushroom soup, undiluted
6 slices bread
12 slices turkey or chicken
1/2 lb. grated sharp cheese

Fry bacon until crisp. Toast bread. Combine in saucepan the butter, sharp cheese, evaporated milk and mushroom soup. Heat until cheese melts.

Place toast in bottom of baking pan. Place sliced turkey or chicken on toast. Cover with a layer of tomatoes and a layer of bacon. Then, pour cheese sauce over all. Broil until hot.
