1 egg
1/2 c. soft butter
1 c. brown sugar, packed
2 c. Bisquick
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts, if desired

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix butter, sugar, and egg well. Stir in Bisquick, chocolate chips, and nuts. Drop by a teaspoon about 2 inches apart, on ungreased baking sheet. Bake about 10 minutes, or until lightly brown.
