CHINESE SPARE RIBS | |
For Faberware Broiler: Rack Position - High. Time - 45 to 50 minutes. For Barbecue: Broil over low flame, turning often. 4 lbs. fresh spareribs, sliced into individual ribs 1/2 c. soy sauce 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. dry sherry 1 clove garlic, mashed 1/2 tsp. ginger 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. pepper Remove most of fat. Slice into individual ribs. Combine remaining ingredients to make a marinade. Let stand about 2 hours, turning often. Drain rib pieces and place on broiler rack in high position. Broil 45 to 50 minutes, turning often and basting with remaining marinade. Makes 4 to 5 servings. |
