MEXICAN CORNBREAD 
1 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
1 c. chopped onions
1 c. milk
1/2 c. oil
1 egg
1 c. grated cheese
1 can creamed corn
Jalapeno peppers to taste

Combine ingredients and place in greased pan. Bake at 450 degrees for about 20 minutes. Serves 6.
