2 lbs. plums 1/2 c. water 3-4 c. sugar Wash, drain and prick plums (not necessary if seeds are removed). Add sugar and water, let stand for several hours. Boil plums until tender, add syrup when near jellying point. Pour into hot jars and seal at once. |
