SPANISH PORK CHOPS 
4 pork chops
Salt and pepper
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 (8 oz.) pkg. beef flavored rice mix
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 c. water

Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper. In a 12 inch skillet, brown chops in oil. Remove; set aside.

In same skillet, saute rice mix and mushrooms until rice is golden brown. Add tomato sauce, water, and beef flavored seasoning envelope. Bring to a boil, stirring. Reduce heat; add pork chops and simmer covered for 30 minutes without removing lid. Serves 4.
