ITALIAN-STYLE PORK CHOPS 
2 tsp. butter
4 (1/2 inch thick) center cut pork chops (trim fat)
1 lg. green bell pepper, chopped (1 c.)
1 lg. onion, chopped (1 c.)
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 tbsp. red wine vinegar
1/4 c. chicken broth
2 tsp. granulated sugar
1 tsp. dried parsley
Pinch each salt and pepper

Melt butter in large skillet over medium high heat; add pork chops; cook 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove to shallow 2 1/2 quart casserole or baking dish.

Add green pepper, onion and garlic to skillet; cook over medium heat 5-7 minutes. Add remaining ingredients to skillet; stir to blend. Pour over pork in casserole. Cover; bake in preheated 350 degree oven 45-50 minutes until chops are tender. Makes 4 servings.
