OLD FASHIONED BREAD AND BUTTER
PUDDING
 
4 slices day old bread
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. seedless raisins
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/4 c. milk

In you like, trim crust from bread, then butter each slice and quarter. Arrange 2 quartered slice in the bottom of a buttered 1 1/2 quart casserole. Mix the cinnamon and nutmeg; sprinkle with half the raisins and half the spice mixture.
