2 c. bread crumbled
4 1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 sm. apples, chopped
1/2 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar
5 eggs, beaten

Grease bottom of pan with butter. Spread crumbled bread and apples on bottom of pan. Beat sugar, milk and eggs together and pour over bread and sprinkle nutmeg on top. Bake at 350 degrees in oven until done.
