1 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
3 c. Kellogg's Special K

Sift flour, baking soda and salt together. Set aside. Beat butter, sugar and vanilla until very light and fluffy. Add egg, beat well. Stir in dry ingredients together with Special K.

Drop spoon full on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in moderate 375 degrees for about 10 minutes. Yield 40 (2 inch).

Variation: Chocolate; stir in 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Coconut, 1/2 cup. Nuts, 1/2 cups.
