APPLE-WALNUT BREAD 
2 c. packaged biscuit mix
1 c. oats
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. broken walnuts
1/3 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1/2 c. golden seedless raisins
1 egg, beaten
1/4 c. milk
1 c. canned applesauce

Combine biscuit mix, oats, sugar, salt and baking powder; add walnuts, chocolate pieces and raisins. Combine egg and milk; stir into chocolate mixture. Stir in applesauce; beat vigorously for 30 seconds. Spoon into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until bread tests done. Cool in pan for 10 minutes; remove to rack. Cool.
