BAKED CABBAGE 
Bake at 350 degrees 1/2 hour to 45 minutes.

1 lb. coarsely shredded cabbage (7 c.)
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. mustard
1/2 c. shredded American cheese
2 tbsp. bread crumbs

Cook cabbage until tender, about 10-15 minutes. Drain and set aside. Melt butter and stir in flour to make paste. Stir in milk until slightly thick. Stir in mustard, salt and pepper.

Combine cabbage and sauce and 1/2 cheese. Spoon into buttered casserole. Sprinkle with cheese and bread crumb mixture.
